Ike’s Beer and Wine opened in September 2009 by former Clifford’s bartender, beer lover, and Bobcat graduate, Isaac Elzner.
Upon the former wine bar’s closing and celebrating his newly-earned Botany degree with a traditional leap in the San Marcos river, Isaac –
better known now as, Ike – seized the opportunity to run the place himself and has been keeping the glasses full in Wimberley ever since.

Battling the economy as a young entrepreneur has proven to be a challenge, but Isaac’s determination and desire to embrace the Hill Country community has shaped his bar into what it is today: an intimate and affordable hang-out, with consistently quality beer and wine. All of our beers come from local Austin microbrewies including 512, Live Oak, Real Ale and Independence.

Ike’s kitchen offers a variety of food including hot-pressed panninis, a rockin’ Cuban Sandwich, and much to nibble on our cheese and hummus plates. We also occasionally host gourmet dinner nights (like our successful Valentine’s Day Dinner). Stay in tune with our specials and events like these by joining our mailing list.
